A Passion Turned Profession:

I’m Lexie Duncan, the proud founder of Lexie’s Hound Lounge. My love for animals has been the driving force behind everything I do. What began as a simple passion grew into a fulfilling career. Today, as a full-time veterinary assistant and small business owner, I’m dedicated to creating products and a shopping experience that celebrate the bond between humans and their beloved pets.

Meet the Pack:

Our family is a lively, loving bunch, complete with four amazing rescue dogs – Ginger, Kona, Luna, and Phoebe – who keep life entertaining and full of joy. We also share our home with a spirited cat named Poke and a gentle horse named Coffee. Each of them plays a unique role in inspiring what we do here at Lexie’s Hound Lounge.

From Humble Beginnings:

Lexie’s Hound Lounge was born in 2018 as a pet-sitting and pet photography venture. Over time, our aspirations grew, and in 2023, we reimagined our brand to focus on creating high-quality products for humans and their hounds. What started as a dream has evolved into a creative outlet where comfort, style, and functionality come together.

Growing with Purpose:

With over a decade of experience in the animal care world – including roles in pet boutiques, veterinary medicine, kennel management, and pet sitting – I bring a well-rounded perspective to everything we offer. Running Lexie’s Hound Lounge alongside life on a horse farm has been a labor of love, and we’re excited to continue expanding. One day, we hope to offer items for not just humans and hounds but also homes and horses.
